It depends on several different factors. 

The smaller the tile the longer it takes to recolor and clean because there are more grout lines to cover. A kitchen backsplash with approximately 12 to 14 square feet of 2 x 4-inch tile takes as long or longer than a powder room with 20 square feet of 18 x 18-inch tile.

Most average size surfaces such as bathroom floors, laundry room floors, hallways and landings, and kitchen or bathroom backsplashes can typically be completed in a half day or less. Bigger spaces including large bathroom floors, kitchen floors, and tub surrounds can take up to a day and a half. Large areas such as great rooms, entries, bedrooms, and fully tiled showers with tiled shower pans will take longer, depending on just how large of an area you are transforming.

Grout repair and second coats for high traffic areas also add to the length of the project.

Because the products we use are made to be durable as well as beautiful, your glamourous grout can last up to 15 years or longer with normal wear-and-tear and proper cleaning. Your grout will be SEALED and PROTECTED. High traffic areas may need 2 coats applied to achieve these same results.

Totally. In fact, the products Glamour Grout uses are actually lower than Rule #1168 of California’s SCAQMD which limits VOCs in paint to 50g per L. The grout colorant has lower VOCs than interior house paints. 

We come nose-to-nose with the colorant, and it has no odor or negative effects. Bottom line, it is safe for you, your children, and your pets.
